Description: Occupy Harvard was a student movement established in the fall of 2011. It began with a Twitter handle, @ Occupy_ Harvard, and a website on October 8, followed by a walk-out of Economics 10, Principles of Economics in support of the Occupy movement on November 2, 2011, and the establishment of a tent encampment in Harvard Yard on November 9. Occupy Harvard's YouTube channel includes video of events surrounding the movement, including a teach in on December 7, 2011 and the occupation of Lamont Library.
