Description: The Center for Government and International Studies unites the Government Department, faculty of the History Department who have international research interests, and many of the international and area research centers in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. The Center is designed to promote lively, interdisciplinary exchange among faculty, students, and visitors from around the world. It consists of two main buildings, the Knafel Building and the South Building, with related programs in buildings nearby. The Center website provides information on the buildings, resident academic departments and research centers, the Fung Library, the HMDC Data Lab, building operations, the scheduling of rooms and equipment, IT services, and sustainability efforts.
