Description: Jeromel Dela Rosa Lara immigrated with his mother from the Philippines to the U.S. in 2011. He received his Harvard AB in May 2023, with a joint concentration in Social Anthropology and Comparative Study of Religion. Lara co-directed Harvard Radio (WHRB) News from 2021 to 2023 and was a reporter for The Harvard Crimson from 2019 to 2021. In November 2020, as a sophomore in Cabot House, Lara began experimenting with low budget film photography, focusing on scenes on Harvard’s campus and the surrounding communities of Cambridge and Boston. Description: Mario Leon is the Building Manager at Harvard's Pforzheimer House. Leon's close relationship to the Pfoho students led to him being nicknamed Super Mario. In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Leon devised a challenge for himself to connect students to the House and Harvard, especially first-years and sophomores who could not be on campus. Leon created the @supermario_pfoho Instagram account to present 50 Days of Pfoho Super Mario, which contains images of Leon in Pfoho garb in different places around the House. Description: Ezra Vogel (1930-2020) was an American sociologist whose research focused on modern Japan, China, and Korea. Vogel received his Harvard PhD in 1958 and taught at Yale before returning to Harvard in 1964; he retired from teaching in 2000 as Henry Ford II Professor of the Social Sciences. Vogel served in many administrative roles at the University, including founding director of the Asia Center (1997-1999) and director of the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies (1973-1975 and 1995-1999).
