Description: The Good Project is an ensemble of research projects designed to understand the nature of various “goods” and, importantly, to promote their realization in our time. Through its variety of components, the Good Project investigates realms such as work (Good Work), civic participation (Good Citizenship), organizational collaboration (Good Collaboration), family life (the Family Dinner Project), conceptions of quality (Quality), higher education (Good Education), and the use of digital media amongst youth (Good Play). The Good Project has designed a range of public materials that concern and promote these “goods,” including toolkits, courses, and publications. The Good Project website provides information on the purpose of the project, the Collaboration study, the Good Play Project, the Developing Minds and Digital Media Project, the Good Citizenship initiatives (Good Participation, Trust and Trustworthiness, Civic Trust Among Young Immigrants), the Quality Project, the Family Dinner Project, courses, books, research papers, toolkits, curricula, conferences, events, news, faculty, staff, affiliations, and funders. Publications and research reports are available on the website for most projects. Collected by the Harvard University Archives as part of the records of the Good Project of Harvard Project Zero.
