Description: Devah Pager (1972-2018) was the Peter and Isabel Malkin Professor of Sociology and Public Policy at Harvard University. She directed the Multidiscipinary Program in Inequality and Social Policy. Her work in measuring and documenting race bias in the labor market is widely considered to be ground-breaking.
