Lowell House was named for the Lowell family, closely identified with Harvard since John Lowell graduated in 1721, and was constructed in 1930. The Lowell website provides information on advising, staff, the Lowell House Opera, rules, intramurals, history, the Russian Bells, Lowell Speeches (2011-2015), and events.
