A-Sites: Archived Harvard Web Sites

The Harvard University Archives is charged with collecting and preserving the historical records of the University. Much of the information collected for centuries in paper form now resides on University web sites. Beginning in February 2007, we began the first phase of our effort to collect this information by harvesting web sites from degree-granting departments and committees of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Most, but not all, of the FAS departments and committees are represented on the site list. The list will be updated as department names change and sites evolve. We anticipate that we will continue to harvest materials two to three times a year as we gain a better understanding of the nature and extent of the information we are collecting.
