Description: The Harvard Shorts Film Festival aimed to showcase the possibilities of the new medium of a personal computer and commonly-used software, and to illustrate how creative expression can be made integral to scholarly communication. The competition was open to Harvard College undergraduates, Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences students, and students from Harvard's professional schools. Entries were judged by Harvard alumni in Southern California. The Festival website provided information on submissions and how best to create the shorts.
